Hello guys.. Nice to see you again.. today I'm talking about my new job and how I got it.. I work as IT Technical Support at Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN). It is located at Gading Serpong, Tangerang.
As you guys know, I looked job after my father disagree about my plan go to Australia to take Master Degree.. well.. it's been hard time.. very hard cause I separated with my GF but eventually we seing each other again. I'll discuss it later..
To be honest, it is quite unexpected to get this job.. Because I being called around 1 month after I send my CV and resume.. The story begins with my activities looking job advertisement in newspaper and internet.. I looked for IT Technical Support and suddenly I had feeling to change course.. From hardware orientated to software such as web developer or junior programmer... It's probably had to do with the lack of job advertise in IT Support position and a sudden enlightenment about the career in it..

huehehe....
Hmmm.. it is a very odd title... haha.. can anyone guess why?? well if you guys answered I'm in good mood then you guys are wrong.. haha... Because the right answer is it's been while I didn't write the blog.. haha.. I felt embarrasses. It's been 6 month since my last update.. haha... quite long..
well to update your info, I already got a job...around mid May I signed contract with Multimedia Nusantara University.. It's belong to Kompas Group.. when i got job interview, my parents seem happy.. Because it have great opportunity to work there.. They have a solid system and well known to maintain their employee..

Again and Again and Again
Hmm hi ^^.. I'm sure you guys curious what happen to me for write "Again and Again and Again" wkwk.. hmm.. I'll give you a hint. it's about studying in Australia.. wkwk.. As you guys see from the title, I failed again.. this time I failed the TOEFL IBT (Internet Based Test).
On Sept 26,2009 the last Saturday in September I took the TOEFL IBT at Kompleks Permata Senayan.. It's my last hope to go Australia this year. But it seems GOD have another plan for me.. I think.. But I really-really want to go Australia this year.. But human plans don't work along with GOD plans.. well I failed the Test.

Happy Birth Day
Today, Aug 11 is my Girlfriend birthday. She born 20 Years ago and it’s the second time she celebrate it with me. Our plan for tonight is go dinner but her mother disagrees because she did not like her daughter to always celebrate. Its kind a weird, but that is the fact.
I don’t know why, but her mother seems always disagree with my girlfriend wishes. We did not ask permission to go out but from her look is obvious; she would not give us permission to go out. So we did not go. And we postpone the celebration until Sunday. On Sunday, we are going to eat Hanamasa. Hanamasa is an all you can eat family restaurant. It was from Japan; at there we can eat Yakiniku and Shabu-Shabu.
Yakiniku is grilled meat. We grilled the meat on BBQ plate using Oil and Japanese Sauces. It is very nice and the best part is you can eat all the meat you like as long you still can eat. For Shabu-Shabu we use chicken broth. We put the meat and vegetable to boiling broth. The broth also nice, its help improving the taste of the food we put in. Beside all you can eat, there is other advantage eating Hanamasa. It is CHEAP. We only pay 75,000 for one dishes either Yakiniku or Shabu-Shabu. If I convert to USD its only around US$7.5. Haha.. very cheap right?
Hmm.. talking about food make me hungry again. It is already 11:04 PM at Jakarta now but I’m hungry. So I’ll see u again on other topics.. I’m going to find food now. Haha…

ENGLISH
Since today, this blog will use ENGLISH as the main language. This is because I failed my IELTS two times in a row. I got 5 for my writing skills, both of its. Even I take a private lesson for preparing the second IELTS, I still got 5 for writing and the worst part is the overall score band lowered 0.5 point from the first exam. Is quite pathetic right? That is why I decide to write English many-many time before I take the third and the last IELTS I take this year.
I suppose you guys wondering why I persist to take the IELTS in such a hurry. Well this is because I am going school again for my Master Degree at Swinburne. To able school there I need at least overall score six and not having a score below six for each band. There are four parts in IELTS. The first is listening, second is reading, third is writing and the last is speaking.
For listening, we are being played a tape and we must answer the question from the question book on answering sheet. The listening will take about 40 minutes for answer 40 questions. Reading we answer 40 questions which the answer can be found from reading an articles. There are 3 reading materials, and each reading has its level. In writing there are two tasks. Task one we must write about diagram and describe it for 150 words. On test two, they give us a sentences and our job is to develop those sentences into 250 words. It looks easy but to be honest with you it is hard, because I never write in English before. If you ask me to write in Indonesian, I’m sure will pas the needed score. But dream and reality is two different things.
I understand why is hard for me to write in English. There are at least two main factors that make me hard to write English. The first one and probably the main factor is I did not remember very well the rules of writing English. There are many rules for writing English and I’m not good at memorizing. And the second factor is I rare to write English in long lines. I hope by trying writing blog using English my writing skills will improve quite better.
And how I know if my writing is good enough? The answer is I using Microsoft word before I post it on my blog. In Microsoft word there are spelling and grammar function which detect our writing. It seems I’m cheating but this quite help me to understand how to using the rules for writing English. Beside writing blog using English I also think about taking another private lesson for writing. But I still don’t know where to take the lesson.
The last part for IELTS is speaking. In this part we do conversation with foreign people using English. They will ask us a question and we must answer it. I don’t know the criteria in speaking but I think the main factor is the foreign guy understands our words clearly. For this the only solution is to speak English as many as I can with my Girlfriend.
That is the last part of IELTS. And this is the last part of today topic. I’ll see you guys later on other topics.
